# Migration Quickstart

> Where to start when updating the Restoo widget from v1 to v2.

Here is what your business gains by updating to widget v2:

* **Your guests book better.** The booking experience has been rebuilt from scratch.
* **You measure more.** The full funnel, without building a single trigger.
* **Your campaigns perform better.** They optimize toward real conversions, and your page loads faster: that brings the cost per click down.
* **GDPR compliance stops being work.** Nothing goes out to any platform without the visitor's consent.

In exchange, there are [four changes that can break something you have built](/widget/migration-changes#what-changes-and-needs-your-attention) to review. Your links, your bookings, and your guests [are untouched](/widget/migration-changes#what-stays-the-same).

## Which guide applies to me?

It depends on how Restoo is integrated into your website.

    Your booking button takes the guest to a Restoo address, and the booking
    happens outside your website.

    **Your installation is untouched.** All you need to review is how you measure
    your bookings and your conversions.

    The booking form appears inside your own page, and your code has an
    `<iframe>` pointing at `myrestoo.net`.

    **That code has to be replaced**, and then you review how you measure your

**If your guests book on your hosted page and you do not measure conversions**, there is nothing to change.
